What a fantastic Homes & Interiors event with lots of good eggs!

What a fabulous evening we had with lots of fellow eggs at the Homes and Interiors event hosted in the gorgeous Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh. 

The special guest at the event was Anna Campbell-Jones, design guru famous for presenting Scotland's Home of the Year on BBC, who had a fireside chat with head egg, Kylie Reid. It was fascinating to hear Anna's journey to where she currently is, not to mention her involvement in the design of the interior of Glasgow's very own subway back in the day, very cool!  Mel was delighted to offer Anna a lift back to the safety of Glasgow's west end where the girls put the world to rights! 

Wendy & Mel spent a lovely time chatting with Ella Fletcher of Ella Fletcher Designs who creates the most gorgeous ceramics. The girls came away with a selection of her designs which are just perfect for displaying the spring flowers currently flourishing in Mel's garden! We also loved meeting Mairi Helena textile designer who Wendy has been a HUGE fan of for some time! Mairi designs and creates her products from her Scottish base where the landscapes, colours and wildlife continuously provide inspiration and ideas for her collection which incorporates a variety of print processes including digital and hand screen-printing.  Watch out for a newly recovered sofa that will feature in an Outside In Garden Room very soon!Check out Mairi's website and all her gorgeous wares!

One of the busiest bees at the event was  Ana Guajardo who was creating illustrations of guests on the night! The queue was round the block so well done Ana on not melting down and telling everyone to give you a break!! We can't wait to see the illustration of Mel & Wendy when you've made your way through the many orders!
