Duo Garden Room for entertaining, bike storage & more!
Our client lived in a conservation area in Edinburgh (as do many of our Edinburgh clients!) and had a sizeable, blank canvas garden, perfect for a Garden Room for entertaining.
We were therefore tasked with creating this stunning 6m x 4m Duo Room. Before the build we had to navigate the complex planning process as, being in a flatted development, there were a number of challenges to be considered. We also had to be very mindful of the gorgeous tree that had to be protected at all costs. Access was an issue with only pedestrian access via a lengthy path meaning all construction materials had to come in on foot.
We successfully navigated all the challenges and the resulting DUO Grand Garden Room was built. 
There was a need for storage space for bikes, garden tools and furniture so to the side of the room we incorporated a hidden store. Finished in a more functional way the store works well at keeping everything safe and dry all year round. 
The Garden Room was to be used as additional garden entertaining space therefore IKEA storage cupboards were added with a lovely dining table.
The full width doors to the front allows maximum light and leads onto the patio area to the front created by the Outside In Landscape team
