All I want for Christmas Is a Garden Room

It’s that time of year when your friends and family descend upon you, ravenous for turkey and chunks of Terry’s Chocolate Orange. 

You’ve got to work out how to lock the dining table extension into place, dig out the spare crockery from the back of the cupboard and collect random chairs from around the house. 

But have you thought about the sleeping arrangements? What if your in-laws, Ian and Margaret, decide to stay the night to sleep off the third helping of Christmas pudding?

Our fully insulated and secure garden rooms are the perfect place for Ian and Margaret to sleep off the festive indulgence. Our UNO Mini at 3.6m x 3m comfortably fits a double sofa bed and desk, great for guests all year round. Upgrading to the DUO or DUO+ allows you to incorporate ensuite bathrooms and separate living areas meaning your In-Laws might stay down the bottom of the garden just a little bit longer (although this will require a building warrant). 

Sturdy enough for Santa to land on

A robust timber base frame is built on top a strong foundation of ground screws followed by the installation of our timber kit panels which are a high-performance building system for residential construction. The whole structure is then wrapped in an insulating breather foil membrane to create a room that can be enjoyed all year and will stand the test of time. 

The gift of extra space

After a year of hard work, reward yourself and your family with the gift of extra space. Our flexible garden rooms don’t need to serve the same purpose all year round so once Ian and Margaret are back on the road you can convert the garden room into a home gym, music studio or whatever takes your fancy.

Come snow, rain or shine

Prior to the Ukraine conflict, our Garden Rooms were clad in FSC Certified Siberian Larch however sadly this supply has now come to an end. We therefore clad in responsibly sourced and managed FSC Thermowood, a Scandinavian redwood that has been thermally modified through the use of steam & heat. This product has been available since the 1980’s and is one of the best sustainable claddings on the market, the process the wood goes through makes it very durable. An example of Thermowood cladding can be viewed on our showroom model in Klondyke Garden Centre, Livingston.

We work alongside expert landscapers on many of our projects as a huge part of what we look at when designing a Garden Room with you, is the bigger aspect of garden landscaping.
