Mel Russell will be speaking at the next Love Your Business event

Delighted to announce our own Mel Russell will be guest speaker at the next Love Your Business event on Thursday, 30th May at Black Ivy in Bruntsfield.
Love Your Business networking events are the brainchild of Michelle Brown of Michelle Brown PR and are informal and relaxed, featuring inspirational
guest speakers every month, sharing their entrepreneurial stories and great business tips.
Mel will be sharing her journey from co-owning a digital agency for 17 years through a complete career change and the formation of Outside In Garden Rooms.
Being a passionate gardener it was important for Mel to explore opportunities close to her heart. and after extensive research, found a gap in the market in the central belt of Scotland, for bespoke contemporary garden rooms, used for everything from offices and gyms to retreats and home extensions.
Due to the fast growth of the business in 2020, during the pandemic, the company expanded in the east coast when Mels sister Wendy came on board together, they have won various awards including FSB Start-up of the Year and Family Business of the Year.
Mel will be sharing the story of her entrepreneurial journey over the past seven years, including learnings around marketing and branding, the company’s recycling and sustainability focus, future plans and the power of networking.
Tickets for the event, which runs from 11am - 1pm, are £20 plus booking fee, link above, with 10% of ticket sales going to the LYB 2024 Charity Partner, CARERS OF EAST LOTHIAN
