The Tower Nursery project finally kicks off!

We were commissioned over a year ago to build an additional classroom for The Tower Nursery in Lenzie and finally the project is underway having successfully navigated the planning and building warrant process.

The room will accommodate an additional 10, 2-3 year old children to attend this fabulous nursery. The room will feature aluminium bi folding doors to the front to allow the space to work as an almost outdoor space with the doors being kept open much of the time. 

There will be a kitchen / tea prep area for the staff to prepare lunches, a separate changing station and child friendly toilet. Externally we're working with the fabulous Tiny Temple whose horizontal rainscreen thermowood cladding we'll be fitting.  The space will be floored in a specialist, non slip flooring in line with Care Commission guidelines so will provide an amazing space for the children to really enjoy all that The Tower has to offer. 

What fun the children had watching the timber kit arriving on site, they all have their hard hats and hi viz jackets at the ready for the ongoing build!
