Care Home
Abbeyfield Bearsden, with its picturesque surroundings, envisioned a Garden Room that would provide year-round enjoyment for its residents while connecting them with the beauty of the outdoors. To bring this vision to life, we embarked on the creation of a spacious Garden Room measuring 3.6 metres by 4.2 metres.
Understanding the importance of accessibility, our design featured French doors, which not only add a touch of elegance but also ensure effortless entry and exit. To illuminate the interior with natural light, we incorporated large windows on both sides of the room, allowing the beauty of the garden to infuse the space.
In our commitment to inclusivity, our skilled team constructed a bespoke access ramp. This thoughtful addition ensures that residents with varying mobility levels can easily access and enjoy the Garden Room. Combined with the low threshold doors, it creates a seamless transition from the indoor comfort to the refreshing garden ambiance.
The result of our collaboration with Abbeyfield Bearsden is a Garden Room that not only fulfils its functional purpose but also becomes a delightful asset to the garden. It offers residents a tranquil space where they can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while enjoying the comforts of indoor living.
